Doug Glenn founded Glenn Air, Inc. in 1988 in Alaska. Business was conducted with a Cessna Ag Wagon initially. In 1991 the first Ayres Thrush 1820 was seen in Alaska with a 510-gallon payload. In 1998, a Turbo Thrush was purchased; with its increased air speed it provides reliability and efficiency at a very cost effective rate.
